There are a few makeup products I reach for every day, and tinted brow gel is one of them. I’ve been a brow serum devotee for years, so much so that I no longer use it every day. My brows stay pretty full—I don’t tweeze much and embrace the fluffy brow look—so I rely on serum more for maintenance now. The Benefits of This Tinted Brow Gel
A former NewBeauty Award winner, this double-duty product is not your basic tinted brow gel (or brow mascara, as I like to call them). It’s a tinted brow gel infused with Grande’s award-winning brow serum, which eliminates the need for a separate brow serum product in your routine. It actually enhances your natural brows over time, but you also get the instant filling and thickening effect. Genius! The formula utilizes a blend of vitamins, antioxidants and amino acids to make brows look fuller, thicker and darker, and that it does.
The product’s dual-purpose functionality with both instant and long-term benefits is the major wow factor for me, and others agree. In a consumer study conducted by the brand, 97 percent of participants felt like the product shaped and filled in sparse areas instantly. Additionally, 94 percent of users felt it built their brow arches. Over the course of 16 weeks, 100 percent of participants saw thicker-looking brows and 97 percent saw darker-looking brows. In my personal experience, I noticed my brows looking fuller and more shapely after about only six weeks, and then they continued to get better.
This tinted brow gel comes in five shades: Light, Medium, Dark, Auburn and Taupe. I use Light on my dirty-blonde brows, and if you have gray hair, I think the Taupe shade could work well. How to Use It
I love that the spoolie is small enough to give my brows some shape as well. I actually drag the spoolie on its side along the arch of my brow, where I need a little more fill first. Then after the product has been deposited onto my brow and there’s less on the spoolie, I use it to brush my brows up. If you like the laminated brow look, you’ll probably want to add GrandeBrow-LAMINATE (or the clear gel of your choice) on top after you let it dry.
