Hundreds of products come across our editors’ desks every month, but not all of them deliver on their claims or live up to the hype. (Not everything that goes viral on TikTok is a miracle worker.) This is our exclusive curation of the best-in-class beauty products receiving rave reviews from our team and hitting shelves right now. From Grande Cosmetics’ new lash serum for sensitive eyes to Versed’s silky barrier cream that’s a steal at just $20, we’ve got the inside scoop on all the newness.
The Best New Beauty Products This Month
Erno Laszlo Tightening Treatment Mask ($110)
“Almost 100 years ago, Dr. Erno Laszlo was ahead of his time in recognizing how important water and minerals are for keeping skin healthy and hydrated,” says Patricia Schuffenhauer, chief product officer. “Back in 1988, we introduced the first Hydra Therapy Skin Vitality Treatment, a mix-to-activate mask that truly revolutionized the industry, helping skin recover from everyday stressors such as sun, heat, wind and busy lifestyles. Now, nearly four decades later, we’re bringing you the fourth generation of this iconic treatment—still rooted in our heritage, but evolved for the way we live today.”
With this new launch, Schuffenhauer says the brand is shifting the conversation from skin vitality to skin longevity. “Unlike traditional anti-aging, which focuses on correcting visible signs, longevity is about prevention. With our new mask, we’ve harnessed the power of skin longevity science to help support visible firmness and resilience by addressing early signs of structural decline. We’ve combined new, clinically backed longevity actives with our iconic Triple-Mineral Complex to create an intensive treatment that transforms skin’s tone, texture and contour after just one use, and is clinically proven to deliver a visibly tightened look.”
We love the “mix-to-activate” approach, which lets the user be the chemist, if you will, and also ensures the proper consistency of the product. After mixing, apply a thick layer on your face and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes until it dries down to a rubbery texture. Next, the super satisfying part: Peel the mask off (I love to try to get it all in once piece) and give your beautiful skin a good look and feel.
Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH-MD Sensitive ($48)
The new sister to Grande’s cult-classic lash serum (the brand really put lash serums on the map), this gentle, yet powerful formula was developed for sensitive eyes. Infused with the brand’s signature Peptide Complex and free of prostaglandins, it helps lashes look thicker and longer in six weeks (some may see results sooner), and also strengthens lashes so they don’t fall out as often.
In a consumer study, 96 percent of participants saw thicker-looking lashes and said the serum didn’t irritate their eyes or cause redness.
Moroccanoil Treatment Mist ($50)
Infused with argan oil and linseed extract, this dry oil spray can be used on wet or dry hair to nourish dry strands, boost shine, or even refresh curls and coils. It also provides heat protection, helps tame frizz and leaves hair scented with the brand’s signature, Mediterranean-inspired fragrance.
“When we first launched Moroccanoil Treatment, it quickly became a game changer and a must-have in beauty routines around the world,” says brand cofounder Carmen Tal. “From there, we listened to what consumers wanted—Treatment Light for finer hair and Purple for blonde and gray toning. Now, we’re excited to welcome Treatment Mist to the family, which is designed for those who love the benefits of our iconic formula but prefer the ease and weightlessness of a spray. It gives consumers the effortless, healthy and shining hair they know and love from Moroccanoil.”
Eighth Day The Ultra-Rich Intensive Moisturizer ($290)
Designed to “restore skin volume at a cellular level,” this super hydrating, fragrance-free cream is great for those experiencing more advanced signs of aging, as well as GLP-1 users experiencing volume loss in the face after weight loss. In fact, the dermatologist-developed formula is clinically shown to slow fat loss in the skin by up to 29 percent.
How does it achieve this? According to the brand, “biotechnology mimics the effect of lipofilling through a noninvasive method, VolumatrixSubQ, which uses encapsulated L-ornithine amino acid paired with copper peptide to visibly plump skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.” Over time, skin is firmer and more elastic.
Tower 28 GoGo Cooling Shimmer Eyeshadow Stick ($20)
If shimmery eyeshadows tend to irritate the delicate skin around your eyes, this new launch—the brand’s first eyeshadow—is for you. Available in nine gorgeous shades, from chocolate brown to bright purple, the water-based formula utilizes a hydrating Biomimetic Sugar Complex and soothing Irish moss to promote a calming vibe on sensitive eyes. The stick even cools on contact and earned the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.
“As someone who’s dealt with chronic eczema, I believe that we deserve to have fun with beauty too,” says founder and CEO Amy Liu. “This eyeshadow stick is proof you can have performance, shimmer and play, all while being safe for sensitive skin.”
Le Monde Gourmand Perfumed Milky Body Wash ($22)
Our favorite new launch in the brand’s big expansion into body care, this “sensorial cleanse” is available in two best-selling scents: Lait de Coco (bergamot, vanilla praline and coconut) and Fraise Fouettée (strawberry and vanilla cream). Trust us, they smell incredible! Indulgent and hydrating, the formula is infused with jojoba seed and olive oils to nourish skin as it cleanses. Don’t expect a subtle fragrance here (hence the word “perfumed” in the product name), so if your skin is sensitive to it, always patch test first.
Crown Affair The Overnight Repair Serum ($58)
Founder Dianna Cohen is urging all of us to repair our hair while we sleep—just like we do our skin—with the help of her new launch. A lightweight, leave-in formula, it harnesses flaxseed and chia seed extracts to repair and strengthen strands, tsubaki and meadowfoam seed oils to nourish dryness, and rosemary leaf extract for shine and softness. Apply it to dry hair from the mid-lengths down and brush it through before bed, and you’ll be delighted at what you see/feel when you wake up. Plus, it boasts the brand’s signature scent, which we love.
Especially beneficial for damaged and/or frizzy hair, the brand’s four-week clinical study showed that the serum strengthened, smoothed and softened hair up to two times after one use. It also reduced breakage by 75 percent in one month, using the serum two to three times a week.
Éminence Organic Skin Care Shiitake & Ashwagandha Bi-Phase Mist ($48)
We love a good bi-phase mist, and this botanical-scented one gives you a much-needed dose of self-care and skin care with every spritz. Made with an antioxidant-rich Blue Light Complex (sunflower sprout and tara plant tannins), it’s a perfect face mist for those who sit in front of screens all day.
The addition of shiitake extract, snow mushroom and ashwagandha offers hydration and barrier protection so skin looks healthier and less stressed out. Shake it up well to blend the two layers and spray on your face and neck whenever you want or need a quick (and very refreshing) pick-me-up.
Gucci Beauty Matte Powder ($65)
Replacing Gucci’s existing setting powder, this new formula “is truly an upgrade,” says Joanna LaTorre, marketing manager of Gucci Beauty, noting that the powder contains a mix of micro-reflecting lamellar powders, soft pigments and emollients. Now available in 10 second-skin shades, it blurs and mattifies with a seamless finish, making it ideal for those with oily skin and/or large pores. The beautiful compact also houses a microfiber sponge applicator, which is great for on-the-go touch-ups.
“This is your new setting staple,” says LaTorre. “The innovative, talc-free formula offers 18-hour wear with set and shine control, and has a butter-melt, natural-matte finish that’s nondrying, with the brand’s signature black rose oil ingredient.”
Versed Daily Recovery Rich Barrier Cream ($20)
Boasting the National Eczema Association Seal, this silky barrier cream is one you’ll want in your skin-care arsenal come fall/winter. When the seasons shift and the air dries out, anyone with dry and/or sensitive skin needs a lipid-rich cream to quench and calm, and this is a great pick. Loaded with ceramides, squalane, glycerin, niacinamide and more, it’s rich, but not heavy, and it strengthens the skin barrier over time so skin becomes more resilient and less susceptible to irritation. We also love the hygienic pump-top bottle, which keeps the formula stable and void of dirty fingers.
Makeup by Mario SurrealSkin Natural Finish Foundation ($48)
If you like medium, buildable coverage, but don’t like to feel the foundation on your skin, this new formula from celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic is for you. It’s great for all skin types, but especially oily and combination skin because it offers all-day shine control, and yes, it really works. It does this while also providing 16-hour hydration via glycerin and raspberry extract, and a subtle blurring effect. Skin looks smooth, natural and happy.
“This is the natural finish foundation I’ve always wanted,” says Dedivanovic of his new formula that comes in 32 shades. “It has a smoothing effect and second-skin finish that’s perfectly balanced—not shiny or overly matte. It’s your natural complexion, enhanced.”
Supersmile Whitening Powder ($45)
A tiny bottle with big benefits, this versatile teeth-whitening powder acts as a powerful rinse, a polishing brushing powder or a whitening boost you can add to your favorite toothpaste. Utilizing the brand’s signature ingredient Calprox, it gets rid of surface stains, bacteria and plaque while also freshening breath and strengthening tooth enamel. “I created Whitening Powder for people like me who travel light and want an all-in-one product,” says CEO Lucia Smigel. “Use it to rinse or brush for clean teeth and fresh breath, anytime!”
Bumble & bumble Bb.Styling Oil ($47)
Styling oils are having a big moment right now, and this silicone-free one does several jobs in one step. Great for those with dry hair, but beneficial for all hair types, it not only helps prevent split ends, calm frizz and protect against heat damage, but it also adds tons of shine. The mix of 100-percent pure Abyssinian and apricot seed oils packs a hydrating, smoothing punch. Use it by itself on damp hair (half a pump for fine hair and up to three pumps for thicker textures) or mix it with your preferred styling cream.
DEINDE Instant-Calming Recovery Gel ($42)
Intended to be used after in-office procedures like lasers and microneedling to calm irritation, this fragrance-free soothing gel is also great for those with sensitive skin. Formulated with biotech DHK (dihydrokaempferol), an antioxidant the brand discovered in prickly pear cactus (and patented), it repairs the skin’s moisture barrier and improves its resilience to external aggressors over time.
“As a dermatologist, I appreciate formulations that prioritize both efficacy and user experience,” says Providence, RI dermatologist Tiffany Libby, MD. “This one combines the soothing properties of biotech-derived DHK with hydrating agents like glycerin and squalane, offering immediate relief to sensitive skin while repairing the skin barrier. The gel’s lightweight texture absorbs quickly without residue, making it ideal to calm skin after in-office procedures.”
Shark Beauty Shark Glossi 2-in-1 Hot Tool and Air Glosser ($180)
Mimi Luzon Legendary Glow Rosie Cream ($229)
Celebrity facialist Mimi Luzon’s new launch is a beautiful (it’s pink!), botanical-based gel-cream highlighting the power of rose in skin care. The combination of alpine rose stem cells and aromatic rose oil with nourishing evening primrose, moisturizing black currant oil and soothing Neptune kelp is a multitasking treat for the skin, reducing signs of stressed skin like dryness, redness and even fine lines. The gel-to-oil formula leaves skin super soft and smooth.
“The Legendary Glow Rosie Cream was born from my passion for pairing powerful science with timeless rituals,” says Luzon. “Infused with rare rose extracts and advanced actives, it not only deeply nourishes the skin, but also restores radiance and balance. It’s the kind of cream that transforms your daily routine into a moment of pure luxury and care.”
LUNA ROCA Rock & Roller ($49)
Is this the first lava rock face roller we’ve ever seen? No, but it’s the chicest. Founders Andraya and Tabi Kenton (Tabi is Andraya’s stepdaughter) knew they could upgrade the under-the-radar but super useful beauty tool, so that’s what they did. “When I saw my friend pull out a volcanic roller at dinner to blot shine from her face, I didn’t just see a beauty tool, I saw an opportunity,” says Andraya Kenton. “It worked, but it wasn’t chic or sustainable. That’s when I knew I could make this better.”
And if you have oily skin, consider this your new best friend. Made of 100-percent natural volcanic lava rock, the roller instantly absorbs excess oil without requiring layers of powder, setting spray, etc, and suits every skin type. It’s also handy for depuffing on the go. Stuck in the back of a cab or on a long flight? Rock ‘n roll baby. Plus, we just heard that Alo will be gifting the roller to its LA and NYC Wellness Club members, as it’s the perfect post-workout beauty tool to absorb excess oil and shine.
Beauty Pie Youthbomb Extreme Retinal Triple Renewal Serum ($99)
An overnight wonder worker for aging skin, this retinal serum was formulated in collaboration with New Orleans dermatologist Mamina Turegano, MD. It combines granactive retinoid (considered more efficacious than traditional retinols), encapsulated -retinal and bioavailable bakuchiol in one heavy-hitting serum.
“I love that Beauty Pie wanted to take inspiration from the retinoid treatments we use as dermatologists, but create one that could be used without prescription,” says Dr. Turegano. “The combination of retinoids, plus additional ingredients like lactic acid, means it packs a real punch, but it’s paired with other calming ingredients, including niacinamide and ceramide NP. This helps keep the skin barrier protected and nourished when exposed to the retinoids. It feels like a real step forward for the industry.”
KJH.brand Precision Sculpture Stylo ($24)
When it comes to contouring sticks, most of them are larger, making it difficult to use for more precise placement, like around the lips and the brow bone, and adding depth and dimension to the eyes. This soft-matte “pinpoint sculpting wand” as founder and celebrity makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes calls it, was inspired by the art if sculpting, and comes in five powder-infused shades that blend seamlessly into the skin.
“As a makeup artist, I’m all about perfecting the details,” says founder Katie Jane Hughes. “That’s why I’m so excited about this launch! With Precision Sculpture Stylo, I finally have a product that helps me achieve high and low contrast contour looks on areas of the face that need more of a targeted application.”
