I will shamelessly admit that The Devil Wears Prada has been unwaveringly occupying the number one spot on my Letterboxd for years, and I don’t anticipate it changing anytime soon. For any die-hard fans of the high-intensity, fashion-forward movie like myself, the past few weeks have been exceptionally exciting, as we’ve gotten our first glimpses into the filming for The Devil Wears Prada 2, where the OG star-studded cast including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci will reunite for a long-overdue sequel. While fans have been buzzing about who’s wearing what in the behind-the-scenes photos we’ve gotten so far, we’ve been keeping a close eye on the beauty evolutions happening within this legendary remake, and the most recent paparazzi photos have revealed an intriguing hair transformation on Andy Sachs’s front.
Anne Hathaway’s Andrea Sachs 2.0 Hair Is the Ultimate Fall Color Inspiration
Anne Hathaway’s transformation from a timid intern to a trend-setting boss woman during her role as Andy Sachs in the original The Devil Wears Prada film is one of the most iconic to date, and we’ve been itching to see what the modern-day Andy Sachs’ beauty and style aesthetic would be since the moment the sequel was announced. Now, as we get more and more insight into how the remake is shaping up, we’ve taken notice of a new hairstyle for Hathaway that is destined to be the ultimate fall hair trend.

Both Hathaway in real life and Sachs in the Miranda Priestly cinematic universe have been known to sport a monochromatic, brunette hair look. But, thanks to some sneaky behind-the-scenes photos (and a perfectly timed gust of wind), we now know that 2025 Andy Sachs has a trendier, more dimensional ‘do. Spotted on-the-go Manhattan, Hathaway’s hair is noticeably highlighted as she films the new movie, with golden caramel and almost copper accents spliced through her rich brown base. While some BTS photos make the ‘do look ultra-bright, Hathaway’s long-time colorist Joel Mowen told us, the highlights are “more golden with a squeeze of apricot glow,” and we can’t get enough of the muted, fruit-inspired shade. A While we have to wait another year to see Andy Sachs in action once again, we’re positive that her hair will be influencing the beauty trend circuit immediately.
