Typically, when we think about hair color trends by season, the transition to fall is associated with a shift to the darker side of things, with bright blonds being left behind for warmer browns, coppers and more. Leave it to the Princess of Wales, though, to turn the world of hair trends on its head with one paparazzi photo, as the royal was recently spotted with noticeably blonder strands just in time for fall.
Kate Middleton Goes From Soft Copper to Light Blond
Over the past couple of years, Kate Middleton has become the queen of subtle hair transformations, often adding or removing subtle streaks from her strands to gently but effectively change up her ‘do. Now, as we transition out of the scorching summer and into a (hopefully) cooler autumn, Middleton is shaking things up once again, opting for what appears to be a honey-golden blond shade for the new season.
Just last month, Middleton appeared at the revered Wimbledon tournament (left), sporting the copper-leaning light brown strands we’ve long known and loved her for. This week, though, in a paparazzi shot of the princess in a car (right), we got a glimpse into her new look, which seems to feature much blonder tones (still on the warm side though) making the look the perfect transitional style for easing from summer to fall.
