With a coveted front-row presence and her husband by her side, Lana Del Rey turned heads at Paris Fashion Week. But it wasn’t just her couture that caught attention. One of her best beauty accessories: A sultry, polished new hair color that’s already being dubbed the must-have shade of the season.
Meet Molten Mink Brunette, a rich, multidimensional hue created by Schwarzkopf Professional’s U.S. Creative Director of Color & Technique, Tracey Cunningham, who coins it as “a bold, yet timeless update” to the classic brunette.
“Lana’s new Molten Mink Brunette feels like the perfect update for the fall season,” Cunningham shares of the Paris-ready hue. “It’s a rich, dimensional shade that exudes that signature old-Hollywood glamour that Lana is known for.”
To create the color, Cunningham used Schwarzkopf Professional’s Igora Vibrance ($17) for a glossy, reflective finish. “I softened her hairline a little bit using Schwarzkopf Professional’s Igora Color10 ($15) and then enriched the base with cool, neutral shades to add depth and balance,” the colorist explains. “For her mid-lengths and ends, I refreshed them by blending soft beige and ash hues for a smooth, even tone throughout.”
A luxe fusion of espresso and cocoa tones, the shade creates radiant depth and dimensional warmth that flatters from every angle. And, as Cunningham says, the formula delivers a luminous, high-gloss finish with just the right amount of tonal variation for seamless regrowth and effortless maintenance.
