“I’m busy training Stanley, Emily and Annie for The Devil Wears Prada 2,” Monique Eastwood tells us when we talk. “They have been clients of mine for years and sign in weekly for online sessions.” Her top tip for celeb clients and beyond is simply to keep moving every day. She says most of her clients sign in online with her four to five days a week, making their workout part of their core routine. If there’s a day you don’t feel up to doing much, she suggests simply walking fast until you get breathless.

Eastwood practices what she preaches, “moving every day with either a power walk, swim or lifting weights—not always heavy ones. I challenge my cardio system most days, too.” She recommends switching up your workouts to get your body stimulated to change. “I do a mix of everything in my movement method. I cover most of what the body needs to stay strong, mobile and cardio fit.”

Because her skin is often exposed while wearing training sets, she uses Heliocare ($31) for an extra layer of sun protection. She also loves using Joonbyrd’s Kaleidoscope Body Serum ($102). “It’s very nourishing and leaves my skin with a glow.” Although Eastwood eats a healthy diet, she adds supplements with B vitamins to help keep her nervous system stable.

As a former professional dancer on Broadway, Nicole Winhoffer’s approach to training her clients is a bit different. Her motto: “Learn to love yourself through discipline,” which is something she learned while coaching Madonna through two world tours. “Discipline isn’t punishment; it’s an act of self-respect and self-love. By consistently showing up for yourself—training, practicing and pushing through—you build confidence and trust in yourself.”

Her must-have products for getting the job done include coconut oil for healthy skin and hair, a towel to create tension during low-impact workouts, a mat for knees when doing floor work, a lot of water, and no alcohol. Her clients often rely on NWMethod’s monthly or annual memberships when they can’t see her in person.
